Landlord Saftey Certificates

Landlord gas safety certificates are a legal requirement for all landlords responsible for UK rental properties equipped with gas appliances. It is your responsibility to find a qualified and Gas Safe-registered engineer to conduct inspections of your rental properties, as failing to do so could mean that your appliances are not checked according to the government’s regulations.

How it works

WE CHECK ALL GAS APPLIANCES & GAS METER IN YOUR RENTAL PROPERTY



The Gas Safety Regulations (Installation and Use) 1998 place legal duties on landlords and letting agents to ensure the safety of gas fittings and appliances in rental properties. 

Under these regulations, landlords must maintain the safety of:

  • Gas appliances
  • Pipework leading to gas appliances
  • Flues from gas appliances

This is carried out by an annual inspection of all appliances and systems with a check of the meter to ensure there are no leaks.


WE PROVIDE A CERTIFICATE UPON COMPLETION


You will receive a copy immediately after the inspection has taken place.

Your gas safety certificate will include:

  • A description and location of every appliance
  • The name, registration number and signature of the engineer
  • The date of the check was carried out
  • The address of the property
  • Information on any defects or faults and how to fix them


WE will advise of any urgent issues and provide a no obligation quote for recommended work.


Once the recommended works have been completed by ourselves, we can then reinspect  your property and issue the completed certificate.
